When should you get a tutor? |
|

|
The best time to
get a tutor is when a problem first becomes evident. Once trouble
begins, it can easily snowball, even creating difficulties in other
subject areas. The earlier help is given, the faster the student can
get on with learning.

Once
you decide to have one of our tutors help you, the first
thing that will happen is one of our representatives
will visit your home. It would be useful for you to
have:
-
a recent copy of
his/her report card
-
recent examples of
work the student is struggling with
-
an idea of a
schedule that you would like to have with the tutor
-
a list of questions
that you have about tutoring
Once
this information is given, you may elect to pay the
tuition (usually paid 10 hours in advance). After the
tuition is paid, a tutor will be assigned to you. The
whole process usually takes 5 business days, but may
take longer during peak times, or for special requests. |
